Not sure if you've been watching the GORc board or my board but Castlewood seems to be a go for design and proposal. Sam wants me as the lead and essentailly said come up with ideas so start watching my board and posting ideas. I should probably meet up with some of you guys in the near futre just to BS and throw ideas out and maybe ride if this stupid a$$ rain ever stops

Well.. You have a coiler, so all you really need is some light tires, tubes, a long stem, and some light parts and get into it. Its awesome training and killer cardio. Once you get onto a mountain all you've got to do is swap your stem and tires and you're on a FR rig.

yo, I'm finally slowing starting to get my site and forum going. I have talked with several other people and they are straight fed up with GORC's righteous BS. They aren't even necessarily freeriders, but support it and want to build trails with all types of styles in mind. Lomg story short, i will be posting more regular updates as well as building the site to give more reason to go there. Anybody you know who wants to get this stuff going send them to the site and tell them to register.

i will look for the trees today, I didn't even notice them....btw I scouted the site for the c'wood stuff some more and if it can be designed right there could actually be some sick $hit put in there, especially if we can use the steep a$$ hill right at the 90 degree turn, i will put pics of the area up on my site in the next day or so

from this point (video clip above) and a larger drop to the left (from the vantage point in the video) there are awsome lines and you can carry speed like mad..i was puttin ass in this clip..i'm going to feel around about seeing if we can get some new lines spawning off from the "steps" area...stay tuned

Yeah. Unless you know all of the internal's of your forks, and have a shock pump and proper tools for doing it, Just bring it into the shop. get your forks tuned for your weight, and rebound to the way you like.
Just dont do it yourself.

Well qualitywise, Dont buy an 04' Jr T, thats what I'm running. its pretty nice. but not adjustable, and you dont recieve full travel. if I we're you. you seem to freeride more than anything, stick with the SC just get your drop-off's tuned (I had mine done by a pro DH circuit rider) and they'll be PLUSH

f*cking rights it did. I've actually got some frame damage on my chainstay because of it. and you may have a problem downshifting and the chain getting stuck when it falls off, first thing, that fix (granny gear) is on warranty. and a guide, Good idea. I'm running a blackspire stinger on mine, Damn fine. look into it, I still have 2 rings! and can race DH!
